It took me longer than everyone else. Kerry stayed with me for most of the ride. The wind was horrible.
As you rode up onto the ride of the Hallendale Beach Blvd bridge the wind hit you so hard I couldn't breathe.
Took me about 2 blocks to breathe again..lol.
Hollywood broadwalk was like being sandblasted.
Next time I will be faster
I had Florida Lobster for the first time at Stacy's bday party. They taste a lot like cold water lobster.
My new store kicked butt in October!!!
The neighbors upstairs skipped out and I think the landlord is being choosier about who he rents to. Its been empty for about 3 weeks. ahhhh quiet.
Sean turned 24 on Sunday..I knew that before cause I was kinda there 24 years ago....just thought I'd mention it.
I went to the jazz brunch on Sunday and there is a performer who does Rod Stewart..does him pretty well too.
I finally caught the rodent. Turned out to be a rat. He would lick the p nut butter off the rat trap and not trip it..so I bout those D-con no view no touch traps and he didn't touch them..then I bought poison and he wouldn't eat it...Friday I got really good glue traps from an exterminator supply on Oakland...Sunday I woke up to a fully stuck rat in a glue trap.

I had a different, more sexy costume for dancing but I didn't get a photo of me.
I had a Customer service class scheduled today at Broward College...they canceled it and did not notify anyone. Very poor customer service.
I finished it again and in much better shape than last time. I'm not sure how fast I was going, I forgot to put the computer back on the bike, but I was dead last again. Since it wasn't a race its ok.
This time I ate a good lunch and some oatmeal with banana before I rode and didn't get the fainting shakes afterward.
I'm just so happy I can do it..so I'm a gonna do it again.
You can only drive 5o mph on a donut.
The locking lug nuts require a special key thingy and it is in a bag in the glove box..."So that's what that is"

I inherited over 150 frames that need demo lenses in my new store..just when I got the number under 10 in my old store. I have to get this number down before inventory at the end of November.
Federal Highway goes all the way thru from Hollywood to points North. I thought you had to get off on 595 to 95 at the Port/Airport, but it does go thru. Since I can only drive 50mph I don't want to get on a freeway.
Your breaking a federal law if you bike into an area of a state park that is closed for construction. We committed a felony because we didn't see the signs. We got off with a stern warning this time.
I must eat carbs before a long bike ride..a banana after the ride doesn't hurt either.

Kerry invited me over to her home with her brothers family. We swam in their pool and then took off for a bike ride. She lives near the Shenandoah roller coaster ride..lol.
So we set out off Shenandoah to ST Road 84 along the canal.
This is in reverse the ride Jorge does. It looks much different backwards and in the heat of the day. We didn't see another biker on the trail..they are probably all in MT Dora for the festival. We did see about 14 large Iguanas.
We rode down to Weston Road at Markam Park and crossed over to Uncle Al's.
We watched the football game, gossiped drank beer and ate a little something and rode back to her home.
I thought it would be ok to ride back on sr84 instead of the canal path. I was surprised we had to go over 75. That was a hill I didn't anticipate but we made it over..maybe a little slow but made it over.
The computer says we did 7.2 miles at an average of 9.4mph. Kerry is usually a much stronger biker than I am. She hasn't ridden in about 2 weeks because of a vacation and the flu. She also rides a mountain bike so shes working much harder than I am. I think the heat was also a factor..where is the cooler weather? Its darn hot out there at 3 pm.
Afterward we swam some more then went to Wally World to get our Halloween costumes. We had to find something that we can still ride a bike with. We found the perfect solution. You'll have to wait for the photos but I will give you a hint..hers is pink and mine is purple ...as if y'all didn't already figure that one out.
